Report
abuse: The following rules are followed by all ACKnet
CService members.
Any member abusing their rights or breaking the rules should be
reported to the heads of CService.
ACKnet Channel Service rules:
- Never use your position and access to "A" to threaten or coerce
a user.
- If you are a channel operator on a channel with less then 500
level access then you should still consider yourself as such on
that channel and act in accordance of that level.
- In a channel where you have been invited to act as a channel
operator, knowing you are a Cservice member with full access to "A",
it is best if first you ask what the channel master would expect
of or allow you to do that way you know what access level that
channel master is allowing you. I.E. If the channel master
allows you to have 500 access, then you are free to use up to
level 500 commands.
- Always respect the channel masters of every channel as having
full and final authority in that channel, and the "A" accessed
channel operators as being the agents of, and working in the
interests and under the direction of, that channel master. If a
channel master or channel operator is abusive, do not retaliate
via global access, but rather bring that information and the log
of such a confrontation to one of the Heads or the Assistant
Head for further handling
- A channel master or channel operator has the right to kick or
ban anyone from their channel at any time for any reason..
including a Cservice member if that is their desire. Any bans
set by legitimate channel operators of that channel against a
Cservice member should by NO means be tampered with or removed.
Such an incident should be reported to one of the Heads or the
Assistant Head and they will determine the actions if any to be
taken.
- All problems not concerning "A" (flooders, user-user disputes,
etc.) brought to #CService are to be directed to #Opers.
