NickServ is a service that gives users an account on ACKnet, so that he/she may
enjoy the full benefits of ACKnet...You cannot register a channel without first registering an account/nickname. Nickserv will
allow users to protect and guard their identity on ACKnet and give the ability to be added to access lists of channels, or register their
own channel with our Channel Service ("A"). Nickserv has many features and commands that users can use.
